Every Friday — the wine evening we built
Friday Night Taste & Test. Every Friday at 18:00 (first pour 18:30), Secunda. A small-room guided tasting of Morara wines from Stellenbosch with paired snacks. R1,250 per person. Saturday 18 July — Nelspruit
An Evening of Taste, Darkness & Impact. 6:30 PM for 7:00 PM, Nelspruit Civic Community Hall. Charity gala hosted by Dreamers & Founders in support of the Mpumalanga Blind Skills Development Hub. Blind wine tasting, three-course dinner in the dark, live auction. R500 per person. Tickets through Kay 082 209 0819 or Fanie 061 506 0854. Morara is pouring — details in the original announcement. Technically outside GMM but every Mpumalanga calendar should hold this one.
Sunday 12 July — the book club
Grow Together or Grow Apart — Open Book Club Afternoon. 3:00 PM, Tau Ecosystem offices, Secunda. An afternoon for couples who have read or are reading the book. Bring your copy, bring your partner, bring the conversations you have been putting off. Hosted by Isaac and Portia. Confirm attendance by replying to this article — venue capacity will be capped so we can hold one conversation across the room.
August (date TBC) — eMbalenhle
Morara Sip & Paint with Tkae Junior. A curated art-and-wine evening hosted by Thokozani Khumalo (Tkae Junior) featuring Morara wines exclusively. Provisional date 15 August — follow Morara Winery on Facebook for the locked date and venue.
Saturday 26 September — the flagship
Highveld Impact Crown Grand Gala. Graceland Hall, Secunda. The closing gala of HIC 2026 — 230 Architects of Change celebrated, the community venture fund unveiled, the Crown awarded. The flagship event of The Impact Crown calendar. Sponsor tickets and ordinary tickets release dates announced separately.
