Community — Morara × Impact Crown
More than wine — Morara stands behind community work.
Morara Winery is a direct sponsor of Impact Crown's HIC 2026 programme — a youth development cohort of 230 young builders based in eMbalenhle and Secunda, Mpumalanga.
This isn't a percentage-of-every-bottle arrangement. It's a direct commitment. Morara backs Impact Crown because the people running Morara are the same people building Impact Crown — Portia Modiehi Mokoena (Founder, Morara Winery) and Isaac Tau (Operations, Impact Crown), together also the co-authors of Grow Together or Grow Apart.
The rule that runs every Impact Crown communication is the same rule that shapes how we think about wine:
"If a grandmother in eMbalenhle and a sponsor in Sandton would both understand it, it's ready. If only one of them would, rewrite it."
Choosing Morara is choosing a brand that is consciously, directly investing in the next generation of South African builders.
