Welcome to Porsh Retail

This is the one place online where everything Portia Modiehi Mokoena builds lives under one roof — her digital home, in full. It starts with wine, it carries a book, and it grows as she does.

The idea behind Porsh Retail is simple: instead of scattering her work across a dozen pages and platforms, gather it in one warm, proud place where anyone can find her — whether you came for a bottle of Stellenbosch red, for a marriage manual written from the heart, or just to see what a Mpumalanga woman is building.

Morara Winery — Stellenbosch in your glass, Mpumalanga in your heart

Morara is where it began. Nine wines, sourced from Stellenbosch — the four-centuries-old home of South African winemaking — and carried home to the Highveld by someone who refuses to believe good wine should be gatekept.

You will find the welcoming Sweet Shiraz that brings everyone into the conversation, the classic dry Shiraz and Cabernet, the smooth Merlot, our proudly South African Pinotage and the much-loved Coffee Pinotage, and crisp whites in Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc. Whether it is your first glass of red or your hundredth, there is a bottle here with your name on it — and for weddings, gifts and celebrations, that can be literally true with our personalised bottles.

Morara Winery is a registered South African company. We are members of the wider South African wine community and we are growing the right way: properly, proudly, and in the open.

The book — Grow Together or Grow Apart

Porsh Retail is also home to Grow Together or Grow Apart, the marriage manual written by Isaac Tau and Portia Mokoena for couples who refuse to settle for “this is just how I am.” It is honest, practical, and written by two people doing the work themselves. You can buy the paperback right here.

Why one home for all of it

Portia and Isaac said something early on that became the rule for everything here: we want to make the world a good place to live in for all. That is not a slogan. It is why the doors are wide, the language is human, and the prices and promises are honest. Wine in South Africa has too often been kept behind class and language and race. Morara is the opposite of that — the first-time wine drinker is as welcome as the collector.

As Portia's other ventures come online, they will live here too. This page will grow with them.
