Porsh Retail is the one place online where everything we build lives under one roof. Not scattered across a dozen pages and platforms — gathered in one warm, proud home where anyone can find us, whether you came for a bottle of Stellenbosch red, for a book written from the heart, or just to see what a Mpumalanga woman is building.
This first post is about the site itself: what's here, how to use it, and why we made it the way we did.
The wine: Morara, Stellenbosch in your glass
Morara Winery is where it began, and it's the heart of the shop. Nine wines, all sourced from Stellenbosch — the four-centuries-old home of South African winemaking — and carried home to the Highveld.
You'll find our most welcoming bottle, the off-dry Sweet Shiraz that brings everyone into the conversation. You'll find the classics: a full-bodied dry Shiraz, a structured Cabernet Sauvignon, a smooth and easy Merlot. You'll find our proudly South African Pinotage — the grape crossed in Stellenbosch in 1925 — and the much-loved Coffee Pinotage with its mocha depth. And for the white-wine lovers, crisp Chardonnay, our flagship Chenin Blanc, and an aromatic Sauvignon Blanc.

Porsh Retail is also home to our book, Grow Together or Grow Apart — a marriage manual for couples who refuse to settle for “this is just how I am.” Isaac and I wrote it for real couples doing real work, and you can buy the paperback right here on the site.
Everything you need to shop with confidence
A shop should be easy to trust, so we built in the things that make it real. There's an Our Story page if you want to know who's behind all this. There's a FAQ & Responsible Drinking page that answers the common questions and sets out our age and responsibility commitments — because wine is for celebration, never for harm, and you must be 18 or older to buy it. And there are clear shipping and returns policies so you always know what to expect.
Why one home for all of it
We said something to each other early on that became the rule for everything here: we want to make the world a good place to live in for all.
That's why the doors are wide and the language is human. Wine in South Africa has too often been kept behind walls of class and language. Morara is the opposite of that — the first-time wine drinker is as welcome as the collector. And as more of what we build comes online, it will live here too, in this same open house.
